Two aspiring Hollywood stars are sent back in time, during the Gone With the Wind Era, by the evil Dick Whitman, an old school studio exec. As the two try to get back to the present time, they keep getting stuck in movies of the past as token Black characters.

While battling her own demons, Detective Olson is determined to catch a sadistic killer. The only clues left behind are the victim's bloody remains and the sole survivor, a 17 year old boy. After inheriting a home from a recently deceased grandfather she never knew, Liz Jennings travels to the small Texas town of Brockmeyer. Soon after she arrives, Liz receives a surprise visit from a popular Austin conspiracy radio show host named Seamus "Shame" Fuller. Shame informs Liz that he has reason to believe her grandfather may have been involved in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Though she is initially skeptical, Liz soon agrees to assist Shame in his search for answers.

At an absurdly self-indulgent student film festival, the directors of the (mostly terrible) short films start getting killed off one by one and a budding British documentary filmmaker decides to investigate.

Jonathan is a young physicist, who alone holds the knowledge of an imminent cataclysmic meteor strike.
